Angels

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14

While most people accept the existence and presence of angels, largely as an intellectual or hopeful exercise, I have always had an inquisitive and open mind.
My first definite encounter with an angel came in 2005 (see post) and since then I have been utterly delighted to engage with them, become more aware of their presence, have fun with them, call on them and be deeply grateful for the way they minister the heart of love of Creator God to those who bear God’s image.
I have learned and experienced that the term “angel” can refer to much more than a human-looking spirit that has wings!
From concluding that fairies might be the child-like way we encounter these spirits to vast angelic realms, I am curious, excited and delighted to be able to collaborate with the angels to “co-create heaven in earth”.

  • Spirit of Grief
In October 2001 I visited Belarus.  During the trip we were taken to the Belarussian War Memorial.  It was probably one of the most profoundly disturbing and meaningful experiences of my life. Around 25% of the population was wiped out in the most cruel ways possible.  At the site of the Memorial stands a towering sculpture… Read more: Spirit of Grief
  • Symbolic surprise!
Feathers have always held meaning for me and in more recent times have been used by angels to remind me of their presence. I discovered this delight in a rose that was both my mother’s favourite and is now mine. When we used to visit the Farm, and these roses were in bloom, (around the… Read more: Symbolic surprise!

As I sat on the grass bathed in the rays of light reflected off the full moon, my handpan singing beneath my hands, it was like I was calling this cloud into being.
