When I first began posting my music on Instagram I decided that I would begin using a “stage-name”.
I took the name “Mirriam Mac”
There is significance on many levels around this name but initially I chose these two in honour of my grandmothers.
My paternal grandmother’s second name was Mirriam and my maternal grandmother was a McLeod/McCulloch (hence the abbreviated “Mac”).
